Week 3: Handle an interrupted week

Use the barrier as information, without repaying missed work.

Your task this week

Identify one disruption and decide what should happen next time.

Work through the decision

  1. Read the actual record before looking at the intended total. Distinguish no record from a missed appointment.
  2. Choose one barrier you can influence: setup, travel, an unrealistic time estimate or a venue dependency. Some work and care constraints need support, not self-blame.
  3. Keep, move, shorten or remove the affected plan. Do not automatically double the next session.

A realistic example

Editorial example: Morgan misses Wednesday because a care appointment overruns. Friday is already full. Moving all Wednesday activity into Friday recreates the time conflict. Morgan instead reviews whether another opening exists and records that this week contained fewer opportunities.

Review before moving on

Which change addresses the cause? An explanation is useful even if the answer is that this week cannot hold the original plan.
